Some people are born politicians, and some reinvent themselves over and over :)

At least 50-60% of our regular clients moved their travel dates where we could find them cheaper seats. Those families with kids got hit the worst. Many didn't buy.

This morning I heard on the radio that a lot of people who planned to travel Christmas week decided not to do it because the airfares struck them as outrageous. Did you or anyone you know decide not to travel for this reason?

Christmas is a travel hiatus for us at The World on Wheels, which gives us time to reflect on the past year. That means it's time to start revealing our 2011 Best of awards. We'll start with the best airline we flew on this year: http://tinyurl.com/87dp5ht

Funny video about cheap flights which is all I take. Who are these comics?

We have just received initial guidelines from the Spanish government reguarding minimum guaranteed service on Iberia Airlines during the two one-day work stoppages by one of our pilots' unions; we still need to translate these guidelines into a list of specific flights that will or will not be affected, and are working to do that very quickly. In the meantime, you can get a better idea of how this strike will affect flights on short- medium- and long-haul routes at the following post on our blog:

Today on The World on Wheels, we feature a rare contribution from my wife...a photo essay. I always surrender the window seat to her and she'll take some pictures now and again. Here is a set from our latest travels...The View from the Window Seat: http://tinyurl.com/7lmbo3o

Talk about timing!

At least that will be in their minds when paying attention to the cleanliness of the planes which is good for me because I have a flight with them tomorrow.

"A North Carolina couple is suing AirTran Airways, alleging that cockroaches crawled out of air vents and overhead carry-on bins during a flight from Charlotte to Houston in September." -CNN

I don't blame them for being upset, but do you think this merits a law suit?
