The Angels called it Chavez Ravine, the Dodgers call it home. Today on The World on Wheels Fields of Dreams series, it's Dodger Stadium: http://tinyurl.com/26npb6p

Next up in our Fields of Dreams series on The World on Wheels, one of the oldest professional baseball stadiums still in use. It's not in Boston and it's not in Chicago but it turns 70 years old next year: http://tinyurl.com/2f6oav4

Back in April, a wind storm forced the cancellation of our baseball game in Bakersfield. We still had valid tickets, so last weekend we went back to the city and picked up where we left off. Check out our update for Bakersfield at The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/2b9z7v2

Planning on being in St. Louis anytime soon? Although it's a pretty simple setup, the city has a decent transit scheme. Today on The World on Wheels, take a look at our brand new St. Louis Transit Report: http://tinyurl.com/2cs9bh5

The Southern Sierra Nevadas. Kern River, rafting, giant sequoias and more. I makes an interesting side trip from Bakerfield, California, but Kernville is also a destination in its own right. The trip report is now online at The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/23t7b2z

I'm not a fan of the all-gambling, all-partying atmosphere of Vegas. I do like a little of each but want something more. Here's a report from a more laid-back locale on the river that hits the spot, Laughlin. The hottest (128 deg.) trip we've ever done. Hop on the boat and come along at The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/29quzl6
