Victor, it could be that people have cancelled cruises in the Caribbean after the Costa Concordia, although that would be a stupid move. It is also possible that the culprit is the weather in the Northeast, which has been exceedingly warm until two or three days ago, which makes people less eager to head south. It's a puzzle, so if you get any statistics (and they may not be available for months), share them with us.

Rumors have it that, Carnival world-wide,  has received many cancellations.

I am not sure but I am seeing a slower high season since the "incident". here in the San Juan port, Puerto Rico. Homeport for the Carnival Victory .

Remember that if you going to Puerto Rico and you have a question, ask me.

Shares in Carnival Cruise LInes, owner of Costa Concordia, fell 17% overnight. What's next to Carnival and its wonderful Costa line?
