Food writers tend to forget that there's a whole 'nuther part of Southern California to the east. We fire our first salvo to try to correct that oversight today at The World on Wheels.

When you're on the West Coast, you now have two choices for fast-food hot dogs. Which one will you choose? At The World on Wheels, we've taken the guess work out of it for you with our brand-new hot dog taste off.

If you're in Los Angeles this week, you'll see a lot of articles about what to do near the new Gold Line stations in the San Gabriel Valley (a new extenstion opened on Saturday). None of the articles we've seen mention anything within walking distance so The World on Wheels is rectifying that today. Everything on our list is within two blocks of each station. We're literally tasting history today at The World on Wheels, starting with a visit to a 120+ year old olive ranch followed by a classic Route 66 spaghetti house. Tasting History in the Inland Empire

Continuing our Costa Rica adventure, today's all-new Cocktail Hour at The World on Wheels takes you to Lounge 24...the Do-It-Yourself bar at the Riu Palace.

It is time for a brand new Cocktail at The World on Wheels. As you may know, when on location for a trip, Tim and I like to come up with new drinks and name them after our locale. Today, straight from the sunny Pacific shores of Costa Rica, it's the Matapalo.
