We are very excited to be participating in the Go Green Expo in Los Angeles later this month. Come by Booth #310 between January 22 & 24 at the Los Angeles Convention Center at 1201 South Figueroa St., South Hall J, and watch some terrific video of the eco-adventures we offer at Alderwood Retreat. Naturalist guided hikes, guided sea kayaking past bird rookeries and sea otter colonies, marine tours to see porpoise & whales, voluntourism projects like cleaning up our outlying beaches, historical & cultural tours, cooking classes, and SO much more are all available at our eco-lodge in the pristine Alaskan wilderness on Kodiak Island. This show is oriented by & for people who care about taking care of the environment, so there'll be lots to see! The first folks to e-mail us will recieve free passes into the show!!! Hope to see you there!

One more thing Dave, ref. go-lo vendor specialists: Could you please change my name to Bianca with i, not Blanca with l. My origin is Dutch but the origin of my name is Italian. I thank you in advance! Sunny regards from beautiful Andorra!

Hello Dave, quite intens but still quite small and mostly mixed (gay/hetero). Minds are opening more and more. Lots of gays and lesbian to be found under Andorran population in all age and life segments. Last week a new bar was opened: Piaf ! Fantastic venue to meet and greet people. Have a look at www.andorragay.com !

Very interesting, Bianca -- and welcome, by the way! What kind of gay scene does Andorra have?

Interesting item I caught this morning, posted in yesterday's pressofatlanticcity.com. Apparently they've finally caught on in Atlantic City, NJ that we're "among the most lucrative forms of tourism," so suddenly they're launching a humongo GLBT marketing program, bringing Lance Bass and Jai Rodriguez down to host parties (starting with a big "Out in Atlantic City" bash in late September), and yadda yadda.

Oh well -- whatever it takes, right?

Hi, Peter! Thanks for that observation. I wonder why in the world it would then be make the top five on HostelBookers.com -- and apparently not just the top five, but number one! In what way did you find it bad? I'll probably be doing a gay Madrid blog post at some point soonish and it would be helpful to know. Do you like the other Madrid hostel on the list, the Pizarro?

How are things on the beautiful Costa del Sol these days?

Cheers....DA
