The first Playboy Club is about to open in India -- and, according to the London Telegraph, PB Lifestyle plans to open about 120 other businesses on the subcontinent within the next decade. Is this a good idea?

Doug, I am relieved to know it is DEL-BOM instead of DXB-BOM. Later would probably go in the travel world as the most dangerous drive undertaken by homeymooners :)

Driving in India is not for the weak hearted; definitely not for young honeymooners on their trip to India for the first time ? They could take a train which is quite inexpensive even in 2/AC or 1/AC. They should also consider weatherbase.com for climate data for cities they plan to visit.

Finally I doubt there are cars one could rent one-way and self-drive. I admit, I have no clue about car rentals in India.

Oh my gosh!  I meant Delhi to Mumbai, then Goa. Sorry. Yep, in two weeks that would be an accomplishment.

I agree with Anil that it is not sdvisable to drive to or in India. Your son and wife can go North, Ladhakh/ Manali or down south Kerala and Conoor for adventure. Jaipur, Agra ( Taj Mahal) & Delhi for culture or Goa as backpackers do.

Hope this helps
