Hey Shoppers!
If you are coming to the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, from Feb. 12 to 28, make sure you download the must-have shopping resource,
ChicWalks Vancouver Shopping App. This app gives you all the information you need to know about shopping in Vancouver by providing highly
researched step-by-step shopping walks.
The app can be downloaded from the iTunes Store to your iPhone or iPod Touch and features GPS-Mapped Walks and Exlusive Merchant Offers, such as 10 to 20% off for ChicWalkers, 2-for-1 food offers and more! You can get the app from the iTunes App Store here: bit.ly/ChicWalks_on_iTunes
To learn more about the app and to see the step-by-step demo, check out the YouTube Video: bit.ly/ChicWalks_on_YouTube
You can also check out ChicWalks online at http://www.chicwalks.com/home.html

Though a lot of my travels now focus on culinary topics and Jewish audiences (but not for the same papers ;-) ), I always love to sneak out to shop because coming home with something special is really delicious. Sometimes I buy a few things I regret, but most of what I bring back for my home and wardrobe I really use and enjoy. My favorite shopping cities so far are Hong Kong, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro and Rome. I also find some random places where there are bargains despite the weak dollar. For example, I found a fabulous winter coat from a prominent Dutch designer retailing for about $500 at a local TK Maxx (not TJ Maxx) in Dublin for $64.
