Fantasy of Flight, Central Florida's premier aviation attraction is offering free admission to all military personnel, active or retired, during May in celebration of National Military Appreciation Month.Special events are scheduled during May as well as throughout the year. http://www.fantasyofflight.com

Rare vintage aircraft will take to the air Thanksgiving weekend as Fantasy of Flight in Polk City, Florida celebrates its 15th anniversary.

Aviation and history buffs will get to see historic aircraft in actual flight according to the following schedule:

Friday. Nov. 26
11 a.m. -- Piper L-4
noon -- Nord Stampe
1 p.m. -- Stinson Tri-Motor
2 p.m. -- Grumman TBM
3 p.m. -- Grumman Wildcat
Saturday, Nov. 27
11 a.m. -- Bucker Bestmann
noon -- Polikarpov Po-2
1 p.m. -- Ford Tri-Motor
2 p.m. -- Grumman Duck
3 p.m. -- North American P-51C
Sunday, Nov. 28
11 a.m. -- Fiesler Storch
noon -- Avro Cadet
1 p.m. -- Travelair 4000
2 p.m. -- North American AT-6
3 p.m. -- North American P-51D

Free admission to Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA...for law enforcment and fire fighting personnel. Includes prosecutor's office employees, forest service, and support staff. Also, free admission for State and L.A. County social services employees. 2 free admissions per photo ID, up to six more for $15 each. Thanksgiving through Dec. 19, 2010. Fantasy of Flight and local Central Florida children are attempting to break a Guinness World Record and build the world's largest yellow paper ribbon over Veteran's Day weekend in honor of our troops overseas

The yellow ribbon will be on display during this weekend's Roar n' Soar event at Fantasy of Flight, featuring classic racing machines from land, sea and air, plus tantalizing food and top entertainment while visiting the world's greatest aviation attraction.

IAAPA will open their annual attractions expo on November 15 at the Orange County Convention Center. This will be the first year of a 10 year run in Orlando for the amusement park and attractions trade organization. Anyone who is interested in any facet of the attractions segment of the travel industry is encouraged to attend. Information on the conference is available at www.iaapa.org. .
