I know it makes me want to go to Orlando a lot more than the mouse does.

It's week one for one of the most eagerly awaited theme park openings in memory -- check out Tripatini's review of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, complete with photos and video!

A classic trip to a classic roller coaster, history, and oceanside fun. The trip report for Monterey Bay, California is now online at The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/27kld36

For Disney World fans: Just found out about a cool app, "Undercover Tourist," released earlier this month. Navigating DW with the family can be quite a production, and you can end up wasting half the day on line, cutting down on the value you receive for your admission ticket. But this incorporates not just a detailed guide to the Disney Parks but also tools to help you plan and maximize your visit by providing wait times in real time, integrated into park maps. So for example you can choose the park with the fewest crowds on a given day, or coordinate your day to hit the rides and restaurants when the wait times are shortest. You can also buy discounted attraction tickets through this app. It costs $1.99 for the first 90 days after release, then $3.99.

Another Olympic city trip report is on tap for today, including a stop at the local theme park. The home of the 2002 winter games, Salt Lake City grew into one of the great Olympic scandals. Come along for the ride: http://tinyurl.com/yhfw3yg
