We have been inspired by West Africa's beauty to organise a photography competition so that you can send us your best snaps of one of the World's most beautiful geographical regions.

We will accept only one photo per person, so choose wisely. The winning photo will be chosen by a professional photographer specialised in Africa! The winner will receive a copy of Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars latest album, "Rise & Shine".

Please post all photos on the West Africa Discovery Facebook page to enter the competition.

@jose: This is one of the rare trips to Paris when Sky Gods were taking a break :) It was 19F/-7C mid-afternoon so :) Since I shoot for myself, there was no post-processing just reduced for the online world.

Beautiful pics, Anil! I've been to Paris many, many times, and I've rarely seen such blue skies! What did you do??

I had some pics of Paris from last month, I just uploaded, nothing special. Since I was staying by the Ecole'Militiare Metro, Eiffel was nearby, and Louvre I love , so some from there too :-)

@Cessy: If you are comfortable with the feel of canon, why not stick with the same ? Check out dpreviews, or photo.net In my experience handheld PS cameras do not make good video clips, they are good for low res youtube style small clips.

I will be on assignment in Europe between May 10 and May 30 attending the Institute of Travel & Meetings Annual Conference at Chelsea FC, Stamford Bridge, London, England (May12 & 13) and the IMEX 2010 Incentive Travel, Meetings & Events Exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany (May 25, 26 & 27). I am looking to fill my schedule in the time between these two events (May 14-24) covering a number of business travel; meetings, incentives, conventions & events topics. I already have some tentative plans in Liverpool, London, Paris and Frankfurt – if anyone has any assignment suggestions or “must see” recommendations related to business travel or meetings, incentives, conventions & events topics please let me know…
