I am pleased to announce that my new travel e-zine www.canadaluxury.travel is presently being developed and should be in full view by May.
Canadaluxury.travel is registered as a division of TravelTerrific Inc. , which includes www.travelterrific.com , my original travel e-zine which focuses on international travel.

Online shopping resource, ChicWalks, just recently created a fantastic
ChicWalks Events Vancouver group on MeetUp.com. thank you for your comments rundles--no she hurt no one and was in fact stopped to have call a cab to drive her home when the cops showed up and you know the rest-it was a one time thing and she does not even drink on a regular basis--thus she is still mortified--sigh

That said, if your wife injured another person whilst driving drunk in another country, well, there is no doubt the Government of Canada might object to allowing her to visit Canada...

I cannot see why your wife should not be allowed entry into Canada, given her record of D.U.I.

This seems like a really stupid thing for the Government of Canada to do, to keep out potential tourists interested in visiting this country. I do not know you, or, your wife, but, if she made one simple mistake of driving drunk in the past, and has not repeated this error a second time, well, in my opinion, Canada Customs should have the wisdom to know better, and let her into Canada. We all make mistakes, and so long as one doesn't repeat a major mistake the same in future, well, why should one be bonded to an original fault that has long since vanished?

> my wife had a dui several years ago and it has all been taken care of but is undoubtedly still on her record--someone told me that because of it and canadian laws and security etc that it is possible that if we travel there that she could be refused entry --this sounds absurd but could be true-can you give me advice on whether this is a possibility and if so is there anything that can be done to avoid it as wed love to visit but the embarassment would kill her
