Traveling in the Footsteps of Alexander the Great

While I was doing research for my historical fiction novel SHADOW OF THE LION, I combined my research trips with travel writing. I published several different stories about my trips in northern Greece during this time.  Now my novel is finished -- a long journey! -- and it will be published next August 2014 in two parts, the second book to follow 18 months later.  Publisher is MediaArias-CDM, UK.

What To Do If You Can't Afford An Overseas Trip?

As I just finished a major historical fiction novel and, after a year of readers critiques and editing I've just turned it over to a professional editor for the final run-through before submitting.  (The novel is titled 'SHADOW OF THE LION', set in Babylon, Asia Minor and Greece after Alexander the Great's death in 323 BC).  The novel itself was a long, long journey. And now the editing/publishing part is the last long haul. 

 

Thing is, it costs to have a professional editor…
