Shalom Buzzy. I really have to apologize for not responding sooner. It has been an extraordinarily busy week with my travel start-up, www.goscopia.com - We've finally created the map clicking possibilities and can take a few minutes to breathe.

My recommendation for Turkey would be to directly write my tour operator there who is extremely professional and knowledgable. His name is Toroshan Sen and his company is Ezop Travel (www.ezoptravel.com). His email is infO@ezoptravel.com or ezoptravel@gmail.com

You can also find a lot of information on his site, including itrineraries and he can also tell you about the dancing Darwishes. I myself rely on him completely for information I provide clients beyond the usual tourism/hotels stuff.

Please say hi for me. He'll be happy to help I am sure.

Happy Shavuot!

Ophir

Hi Buzzy,

Like Facebook, our system requires people to become friends before they can send each other private messages as a way to control the endless spam which would ensue otherwise. We do everything we can to keep Tripatini a pleasant, productive place to hang out without being overwhelmed by unsolicited commercial come-ons.

You should be able to post on the member's wall, if you need to get in touch urgently, or add a 200-character message to a friend request.

Hope this helps!

Horrified but not terribly surprised to read your email to Continental. Is there no end to this kind of thing, or will the pendulum once again start swinging back at some point? You might want to post this in our Air Travel group, too; I'm sure some folks interested in the subject there will have some opinions on this.

Hope all is well.... -Dave

Hi Buzzy, unfortunately, there's no possibility to do a stand-alone link in the boutique; it's an Amazon-powered boutique. Depending on how you plan to fulfill the orders, it might make the most sense for you to post a link in the Israel group...

What I love about specializing in the Mediterranean is how everything ties into everything else, every story can be tracked back to another story in another country. Every day is a new discovery. My latest little anecdote - the city of Venice, probably named so because it was a Phoenician colony. Phoenician = Venetian.
