Halong Bay- the World Natural Heritage

Ha Long Bay (literally: Descending Dragon bay; Vietnamese: Vịnh Hạ Long) is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Quảng Ninh province, Vietnam. Administratively, the bay belongs to Ha Long City, Cam Pha Town and part of Van Don District. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes.

Ha Long Bay is a center of a larger zone which includes Bái Tử Long bay to the northeast, and Cát Bà islands to the southwest. These larger zones share similar geological, geographical, geomorphological, climate and cultural characters. Ha Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km², including 1,960 islets, most of which are limestone. The core of the bay has an area of 334 km² with a high density of 775 islets. The limestone in this bay has gone through 500 million years of formation in different conditions and environments. The evolution of the karst in this bay has taken 20 million years under the impact of the tropical wet climate.

I want to talk a little specifically about one of the trip that I went on with Viet Expert Travel and it wad to Ha long bay, an extraordinary place in itself.

The family holidays were always amazing, the guide was incredible the most, the driver was very courses and wonderful, then we had a guide who were so attentive to every needs, has the sense of humour, spoke great English and were making sure all the time that we were comfortable with the others staffs on the boat.

The boat -- accommodation could not been nicer, I love to that you could have air conditioning on if you want it and in the evening when it is chilly there is heat right in your cabin. They were luxurious with their own bathroom, it was amazing.

The meals -- I have a daughter who is with me who is vegetarian, she had seven courses meal justice we had seven courses meal and extraordinary food for her ad well. And they make a big thing of display of the foods by bringing out and showing us how they cut fruits, how they do things. Just so amazing and so personalize.

The people we met in my family holiday from other countries on our trip even though we were chose a small boat, we had just about 20 people and they were great.

So I will recommend to everyone I know to travel with Viet Expert Travel whenever they can.

Short break holidays to Hoa Lu & Tam Coc

Hi,

My name is Jannette , I come from Blue nnette - Hoa Lu Tam Coc with Viet Expert TravelMountain area, just outside of Sydney New South Wales Australia.

This is our second short break holidays to Viet Nam in six months. We come back because we enjoyed our first trip so much. We were in touch with Viet Expert Travel group whom we got nothing but praise for we been very happy with everything.

We are two women friends traveling together, we always feel very safe, we’ve been happy with all services we had everywhere. The drivers were excellent, the guides always knowledgeable and we always listen because they always give us the best advice, I would highly recommend people come here again.

On our short breaks, we went out and we did Halong bay which were very beautiful, Ho Chi Minh city and we went to Hoi An and Hue which were all very interesting and all of our guides and drivers were excellent.

This time, we follow different itinerary, we came in to Cambodia where once again, the guide and service we could not complain about and then we flew to Hanoi and we been up to Sapa where we walked, met and talked with a lots of local minority people and by traveling with a local tour operator we were able to actually go inside the houses with people and have a lots of other experiences that I know other friends here have not have the opportunity to experience in to share.

So I would definitely recommend to people that if you are coming to Vietnam go with this tour company - Viet Expert Travel – they are excellent and this is not a pay day this is just because of they are terrific.

Mr. Phillip Harris - Vietnam Day Tours in Tam Coc & Cuc Phuong

We took a Vietnam day tour with Viet Expert Travel down to Tam Coc that is south of the city and it is really beautiful and unusual area.

I have not been to Ha Long bay and I heard that this area with very similar structure because it has big limestone mountains and the other very interesting thing was you could get on boats and paddle along the river, they went through rice paddies and you see people working in the fields.

Or you can join to the Vietnam bike tours with Viet Expert Travel to discover Tam Coc as the way you want.

The other interesting things was there were goats up on the hillside and I had a pleasure of eating goat in a local restaurant, food were good there and we had a really wonderful guide who not only informative but he enjoy his experience as well you can tell.
