The wildebeest migration in the maasai mara Kenya

Maasai Mara is a world famous game reserve, which is the northern extension of the Serengeti. This amazing reserve hosts a huge variety of plains game and the big five – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino. Drive off on the beaten tracks and through amazing landscape of flora, fauna and sheer African wilderness. The Mara is Africa’s heartbeat. its the host to one of the wolrds wonders the wildebeest migration where thousand of them plus zebras cross the crocodile infested mara river. the migration happens between July to Early october every year.

hey Maureen it sure is incredible last year had a chance to see and cupture crocs feasting on one it was hair raising!

I was there for the migration this past August.  It was absolutely incredible! Thousands and thousands of wildebeest.
