The Atlantic Birches Inn is an elegant luxurious yet casual Bed and Breakfast in Old Orchard Beach Maine. Comprised of two buildings, the Victorian Main House built in 1903 during the beaches heyday, and the 1920’s bungalow called The Cottage. Guests wake each morning to the scent of fresh home made muffins, part of the delicious continental breakfast awaiting you in our dining areas Then enjoy relaxing with TV or a book in one of our elegant, comfortable living rooms or watch the world go by from our spacious front porches shaded by white birches.
Each building has 5 beautifully appointed guest rooms available for your enjoyment. Located on a quiet tree lined corner, guests can easily walk a minute to shops and restaurants and 2 minutes to the Pier, amusement area and 7 miles of beautiful white sandy beach. The Inn is an ideal stopping point on your East Coast vacation or a convenient weekend getaway at the beach.
A 15-minute drive takes you to Portland’s Historic Old Port district, the Main Mall, Lighthouses and over fifty fine dining establishments. A twenty-five minute drive take you to Freeport or Kittery for Outlet Shopping,
In addition to sight seeing and walking the beaches, other nearby attractions include, whale watching and lighthouse boat tours, sailing, kayaking, horseback riding, golf and more. Kids will love Funtown USA, Aquaboggan Water Park, and the ocean side rides, amusements and arcades on the beach.
All guest rooms are sunny, unique and comfortably decorated with antiques. Choose from a cozy, romantic room for two to a two-bedroom suite for a family of five. Newly renovated one-bedroom kitchenette suites are also available. All rooms have private bathes, are non-smoking and all air conditioned.
