I’m a native of San Diego, California; however twice in my life, my parents wanted to live in Cambodia, so I stayed with them for a few months. Travelling is in my genes and I have recently studied aboard in Brighton, England for a year. While there, I had the opportunity to visit several European countries and hitched from England to Morocco, raising funds for a children’s charity. I fell in love with Morocco, particularly the city of Essaouria, where I lived for 6 months. My first language is Khmer, but I also speak English; I studied Spanish for 6 years, Japanese for 2, and I’m currently learning French. I also know a few phrases in Arabic, but I’m planning on getting a better grip on the language. Currently, I am finishing my B.A. degree in Psychology at UCSD. My plans include joining the Peace Corps and of course…making the world my home!

Hello Amira, You look completely different and more mature now, How is life and business? Our last discussion was that you had some Nigerians in your class who told you that it wasn't that difficult to learn the Yoruba language and to see how some of our cultural activities. Are you still interested?

There is a particular annual event that I will like you to witness in 2018, It is called odun Ijesu from Ikun Ekiti, in Ekiti state of Nigeria. It is purely a cultural and annual event. There is a good accommodation (hotel) even in the town. Why don't you plan your holiday round it?

Yes, Yoruba language is one of the simplest language of the world to learn and the most popular and spoken in Africa. So, so, pretty and simple to learn! just little assistance and direction, you are done.
