I’m a native of San Diego, California; however twice in my life, my parents wanted to live in Cambodia, so I stayed with them for a few months. Travelling is in my genes and I have recently studied aboard in Brighton, England for a year. While there, I had the opportunity to visit several European countries and hitched from England to Morocco, raising funds for a children’s charity. I fell in love with Morocco, particularly the city of Essaouria, where I lived for 6 months. My first language is Khmer, but I also speak English; I studied Spanish for 6 years, Japanese for 2, and I’m currently learning French. I also know a few phrases in Arabic, but I’m planning on getting a better grip on the language. Currently, I am finishing my B.A. degree in Psychology at UCSD. My plans include joining the Peace Corps and of course…making the world my home!
