Feliç Nadal, more like it! And a happy new year to you too, JMM. Let us know how you like Herminia, and have a great time in BCN. Wish I were going too!!

I am going to BCN on Jan 11: only for 8 hours, though, while in transit between Lisbon and Alicante on Vueling. Interesting lunch stop over: I will try to la Dolc,a Herminia this time, then cofee and book browsing in La Central...  and back to the airport...

Feliz Navidad, btw

Love "Les quinze nits"! It's part of a growing chain of restaurants where each one is unique in décor and cuisine and has its own name, unlike a typical chain such as Olive Garden, where you get the same name, look and menu wherever you go. The one common point among all the restaurants: very reasonable pricing. Also in the Barri Gòtic, I also love "La Dolça Herminia." Can't wait to go back to BCN!

One more tip on pricey Barcelona: Resturant "Les quinze nits", in Plac,a Reial, just off the Ramblas (left as you go down): very good, inexpensive food. Prix fixe.
