What do you think about travel in Oman? (for people who have not yet been to the Sultanate)

Hello,

I am doing some research on traveler perceptions about Oman- why tourists may choose to go to the Sultanate (country), what types of tourism they associate with Oman and what some of the obstacles to Omani tourism development may be.
