Advice for business trip in London

I am gonna go to UK for business. but I don't know the weather there in Oct?

I go to London a lot. Average temperatures will go up to about 60, tops, so your afternoons will be in the 50s, and when you head out in the morning for breakfast, it will still be in the 40s. 

But what you really need to know is how much it will be raining? A lot. I think October is the rainiest month in London. Not only drizzles, which is normal in London, but you get some heavy downpours in October too. Bring a brolly!!!
