I will be going on a Baltic cruise in May.  Will fly from New York to Copenhagen.  What currency can I use to pay the taxi driver to get from airport to pier?  Where should I make the currency exchange?  Do I need to get different currencies for Germany, Estonia, Finland, Sweden?

Estonia, Finland and Germany all use the Euro.  In Sweden they still use the Krona, and in Denmark the Danish Krone.  What do you anticipate spending $$ on in Sweden.  Depending on how long you are there and what you anticipate purchasing, you may or may not need to convert currency.

Typically you can find currency exchange booths in airports.  You can also check with TravelEx and American Express to see where they may have offices located in the cities you are visiting, and you can exchange currency at those locations.

You can also get a TravelEx cash card issued in Euros, before you leave the US.  It works like a debit/credit card but is pre-loaded with Euros so you take care of the conversion before you leave home.
