Advice on travel to Iceland?

Im going to Iceland ins few weeks time, any advice?

Careful getting into a shower. The water can come out of the tap at blistering temperatures! Don't do what you normally do at home. Test it before stepping in.

Instead of staying in a hotel, find an apartment on airbnb.com.
