Is Royal Hotel Copenhagen the World's First Design Hotel?

Does anyone know of a desing hotel made before Arne Jacobsen did the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, which opened July 1, 1960? Arne Jacobsen did the building and everything inside it A - Z. The famous Swan & Egg Chairs he designed specific for the Royal. I believe this must be the worlds first design hotel, but let me know if you know of another one.
