Italian Sales Tax

Going to Italy in a month, when I am looking at prices of excursions prices are listed. What is the deal with tax? Are taxes included in the prices or added on? If they are added on after a subtotal what is the general percentage added?

Usually taxes are included. VAT or IVA is now over 20% but you better ask as each product has a different percentage
