Warm Honeymoon Destinations in December

My fiance and I will be getting married in early December and taking our honeymoon over Christmas break. We want to go somewhere warm and tropical but not too expensive. I figure we need to head close to the equator but I wanted to ask and see what options we have. Thanks.

I have travelled a lot during November and found Mexico, the Carribean and Hawaii all great for weather and prices. Just make sure if you do book a cruise as a perfect honeymoon destination that you don't book it over American Thanksgiving...did a cruise to Carribean a few years back and there were almost as many kids on the boat as adults! I believe November is the start of the rainy season so not sure if you'd be guaranteed rain or not for Bali, and Thailand might be just off their rainy season...I think that ends in October but not sure.
