My wife says that this trip, she wants a warm tropical beach. OK, we'll do that. To get in the mood for it, we'll take a look at Maui today on The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/yf87e42

Our followers at The World on Wheels have asked me "why don't you go to Orlando and do a story on Disneyworld?" Actually, we did go but it's been so thoroughly covered by others I didn't see the use. We did, however, do a story on a day trip over to Kennedy Space Center: http://tinyurl.com/ygf3s66

Today at The World on Wheels, our absolute favorite place to taste and buy wine, plus, it's where the modern history of California started from...it's why we're called the Golden State: http://wheelstraveler.blogspot.com

At The World on Wheels, our southwest adventure continues. Not all of Arizona is desert. The pretty little mountain town we visit today was the filming location of such films as How the West Was Won, Billy Jack, Bless the Beasts and the Children, and Junior Bonner. It's got great and colorful western history and is home to Barry Goldwater's favorite bar. Come on along to Prescott, Arizona: http://tinyurl.com/2apgp87
