All our needs fulfilled: Mobile network operator Ncell has installed 3G at the base camp of Mount Everest. Is this good?

Can't decide whether to buy the new Maine Huts & Trails season pass or not. Includes stays at the huts + breakfasts and dinners thru 6/30/11. Its not cheap: $379. But maybe I get up there enough to make it worth it. If any of U call them let me know what U think. 877.634.8824.

Jonell wear water-repellent boots, layers up top, and a parka that wicks. Beautiful country; a fierce beauty I love.

Headed to the Adventure Travel Trade Association world summit tomorrow in Aviemore, Scotalnd. Looking forward to the experience, but bracing for some cool temps! My outdoor day is at Avie Estate and includes pony treking, skeet shooting and archery (a replacement for the biking as apparently they've had snow!)

Looking for a wildlife adventure? Come visit the new Elk Country Visitors Center near Benezette, Pa. to experience the largest elk herd in the Northeast!

Situated on 245 acres within the heart of Pennsylvania's elk range and within the Elk State Forest, the Elk Country Visitor Center is a premier elk watching and conservation education facility in the Pennsylvania Wilds and the entire Eastern United States.

The Center provides a needed focal point for elk watching tourists coming to the area. State-of-art interpretive and interactive exhibits that inform and educate the public about elk, wildlife conservation and green building design make the facility popular for school field trips and family vacation travelers alike.

Guided and self-guided elk tours are also available throughout the region. Visit
www.experienceelkcountry.com to learn more!
