Tough call, Ed. Does the election of a Zimbabwean govt official in some way legitimize the morally offensive and thoroughly disgusting government of Zimbabwe? Or is it better to put someone from that government in the spotlight, hoping that that spotlight may force them to clean up their act a bit?

I don't know the answer, but I do know that dictators generally don't care what others think of them. We'll see.
