I never fly out of LaGuardia, New York's "second" airport (it's really New York's third), so I was surprised this morning that there was no wi-fi in the Delta terminal. Free would be nice, Boingo would be acceptable, but they supplied neither.  Some businessmen who fly regularly out of LaGuardia said, DIdn't you know?
Question for you:  What other airport terminals in North America offer no wi-fi? And what about the other airlines' waiting areas at LaGuardia?

And what's taking the airlines so long with wi-fi in the air? I for one can't wait to tweet from 30,000 feet!
Delta lounge - Crown room a.k.a Sky has wi-fi at LGA Wi-fi was free at the lounge in EWR. Free is thing of the past in many places. I have used wi-fi internet flying from GCM,CUN,POS :) I do think for short haul, it is not really worth it.

There was signal at Gate 1 and Gate 3 in LGA two months back, but you had to be a t-mobile customer. People should invest in Mi-fi and then you would be able to use your laptop, ipod touch, ipod wifi ;)
Jose, Delta did promise to have all planes retrofitted by summer. Howver, provious large scale efforts by Boing led into a 1B failure to capture any traction. Too expensive too cumbersome and too slow was what the major complaint was.
In fairness to Delta, we did have the option of purchasing wi-fi in the air. Problem is, I pay for Boingo, because that service tends to pop up in a lot of airline terminals. But the in-air option wasn't Boingo, and I didn't feel like paying twice.
