Adding a Royal Touch to the London Sightseeing Pass
November 8 2010, London: The London Sightseeing Pass announces today that a new attraction is joining its ranks –
the world famous Westminster Abbey.
Kings, Queens, statesmen, soldiers, poets, heroes and villains have all passed through the doors of Westminster Abbey
– and now you can follow in their steps.
A must-see for every visitor to London, the world famous London landmark
has been introduced to the London Sightseeing Pass in response to overwhelming
customer feedback: not only is it the number one visited attraction by US
visitors, it’s the number one by all tourists from anywhere in the world. Not surprisingly, as just one step
inside the historic building and you’re met with images of Royal brides,
coronations of Kings and Queens, and the most moving funerals and resting
places for all kinds of world famous icons.
The 700-year-old landmark joins 60 other
top attractions including St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London and The
Churchill War Rooms offered with the London Sightseeing Pass.
Westminster Abbey offers visitors a fascinating glimpse of the past, from taking a peek into one of 3,000 tombs, marvelling at the spot where 38 monarchs have been crowned or simply taking a stroll around a 700 year old world famous icon.
The addition of Westminster Abbey to the London Sightseeing Pass coincides with the
unveiling of the brand new Fall Guidebook. Along with the new attraction, The London
Sightseeing Pass has added more money
saving offers to the new guidebook including;
· 20% discount off the a la carte menu at fresh fish restaurant Livebait and at the traditional French eatery Boulevard Brasserie
· 25% off all food at Slug and Lettuce pubs
· 25% off total food bill at North London based Shaka Zula restaurant
