INVITATION TO JOIN EXPANDING TRAVEL JOURNALISM ORGANIZATION

Southeast Regional Membership Director Invites YOU~

 

 

Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl. (JULY 2010)       As a member of the IFWTWA Board of Directors for nearly ten years (International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association) I’m planning a late October 2010 Southeast Conference at the historic Casa Marina Hotelin Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This will be our first regional event! Content and details are being developed this month ~ so I’m writing to learn if you might be interested in attending.

 

You will meet fellow IFWTWA members throughout our region as well as potential new members.  I’m very excited about bringing our regional members together as we grow to a new level of enhanced information and educational opportunities.  I’m equally excited to tell you that one of our newest IFWTWA members, Gayle McCarthy, from Bluffton, S. C. will be working with me on conference details that will hopefully enhance your travel, culinary or wine writing career.  www.ifwtwa.org

                  

The International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA) is a global network of journalists who cover hospitality and lifestyle fields and the people who promote them.

 

In 1956 a group of prominent Frenchmen started rating restaurants. This small group, along with an American, conceptualized an international version of their organization. It became the International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA), when formally created as a non-profit organization in California in 1983.

 

With members in Europe, Asia and Australia, the association is comprised of journalists, broadcasters, photographers, public relations specialists, tourist boards, convention & visitors’ bureaus and epicurean professionals. IFWTWA is a non-profit organization that is run by and for the benefit of its members.
