After a few months of lockdown, what I really wanted was to have a beer at the edge of Lake Tahoe. Find out how I made that happen today at The World on Wheels.

Tired of the crowds and prices of Napa Valley? May I recommend the little Gold Rush town of Plymouth, east of Sacramento, where...when you add the wineries of adjacent El Dorado County...you can taste at about 100 wineries. Oh yeah, theres a lot of history and other things to do, too. Today at The World on Wheels.

Another new report at The World on Wheels. Spending a day in the historic town of Placerville which also has one of the very few (maybe only one?) wheelchair accessible underground mine tours in the state.

We've been vaccinated, waited our 14 days, and now we're immunized. It's time for The World on Wheels to wake up from its Covid-induced haze starting with this story from Tim about his hometown festival.

We are on our way to Oregon today at The World on Wheels and need to make a pit stop to enjoy a little bit of Weed. Weed, California, that is.

It's a rough road to visit a couple of historic bridges in California's Gold Country as we make our way to the village of Knight's Ferry and the longest wooden bridge west of the Mississippi, today at The World on Wheels.

Another notch in our "things we never thought we'd be able to do with a wheelchair" list...touring an underground gold mine. Today at The World on Wheels.

Getting past our misadventures on California's northern coast, we find a decent beer garden and a beautiful Victorian town in Humboldt County. Today at The World on Wheels.
