This has been a fun blog to follow.  Hey Darryl, when are you coming to Carlsbad?  You will be pleasantly suprised.  We're coastall on San Diego County's scenic north shore and lots of fun dining and water sports, great lagoons for walking and birding, The Museum of Making Music, LEGOLAND and SeaLife Aquarium.  I would be happy to show you some of our hidden gems.

Meredith, the best restaurants we found in Paso Robles were Springside for breakfast, Joe's Place for breakfast or lunch, and Buona Tavola for dinner.  A short drive would also take you to the coast where we like Hoppe's in Cayucos. Click on the links to go to each restaurant's web page.

We are planning on visiting Paso Robles in Sept for our Son's Wedding at the Cass Winery.  It will be our first visit and we are looking forward to the wine tasting.  Got some good tips from The World on Wheels link on which wineries to check out.  Any other tips on must see places or must vist restaurants would be appreciated.

Our summer long tour of California continues at The World on Wheels. After spending a week in the northern part of the state, we drift south again to the state's capital for baseball and continuing on to Gold Country: http://tinyurl.com/36fu8q9

Sipping wine high above the beaches of Northern California. It's what's on The World on Wheels today: http://tinyurl.com/3462k4q

Our Summer of California continues at The World on Wheels. Leaving Napa Valley, we head north to the town of Redding and have a visit to Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park, California's miniature version of Yellowstone: http://tinyurl.com/38xgxqb

Finishing off our Triple D themed Napa Valley (and Sonoma) trip on The World on Wheels. Today, we hit the drive-in and the dive while also doing a little wine tasting. We also find a gem that Mr. Fieri missed: http://tinyurl.com/ya38r26

You ever wonder if Guy Fieri knows what he's talking about on Triple D? We put him to the test in his home town as The World on Wheels takes on Santa Rosa and the Napa Valley: http://tinyurl.com/y8rrskq

At The World on Wheels today, in California's Central Valley, professional baseball has a long history. On today's brand new Fields of Dreams review, we profile a stadium and team that has been playing here for 65 years. It's the Diamondbacks single A team, the Rawhide, and Recreation Park in Visalia: http://tinyurl.com/4xqxbk8

On the banks of the mighty Sacramento, Raley Field is home to Oakland's AAA team, the Rivercats. Very nice stadium with great amenities, we call it this week's Field of Dreams at The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/22k2zld
