Wonderful gardens, skiing, water sports, quaint villages, a pizza mecca, and great food only 30 minutes from L.A.? It's not a kingdom, it's an empire...the conclusion to our Inland Empire report today on The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/28c3e5v

Frequent travelers to Southern California soon learn that the outlying airports are much easier to navigate. Ontario, just to the east, is the biggest outlier. Today on The World on Wheels, find out what it's like if you don't just hop on the shuttle or the train and spend a couple of days here in the Inland Empire: http://tinyurl.com/38y6vp9

Thanks, Sam. Yeah, it has so much potential. It's OK, but could be so much better.

Walking in L.A...cars, bars, and movie stars. Well, at least soap opera stars. Today on The World on Wheels, a new photo essay and a walking tour of downtown Los Angeles: http://tinyurl.com/3abl8hv
