Colorado

That Rocky Mountain high is still going strong in places like Denver, Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Boulder, and Colorado Springs. But there's also canyon/mesa country, plains, wine country, old frontier towns, and more.

Howdy folks,

I have a website http://bescover.com which is a national directory of Bed and Breakfast Inns, we have plenty in Colorado, and in every state, so if you would like to try something unique -- what we call real hospitality, then please check us out.

Pity the poor Rockies...at a mile high, other teams come in and find their balls sailing over the fences here. This week's Fields of Dreams update at The World on Wheels focuses on the batter friendly park known as Coors Field: http://tinyurl.com/425a4d8

It's the Best of 2011 at The World on Wheels. We finish it up today with the best accessible destination we found over the last twelve months: http://tinyurl.com/84xogs8

A few years ago my wife almost lost the use of a hand after someone slammed into her while skiing in Vermont. Now the six Vail Resorts have unveiled a serious safety program. Merry Christmas!

Today's Oktoberfest themed Cocktail Hour at The World on Wheels is a massive pub crawl filmed on location in Denver, America's beer capitol. Come along as we drink our way from the Capitol Building to Coors Field and everywhere in between with pics and a video so large we had to split it in two: http://wheelstraveler.blogspot.com

It's a great place to take kids, they really like the ruins and the stories surrounding them.  The B&B in Cortez is also very family friendly.

Darryl, I too enjoyed that post.

It is on my list, to visit that area with my boys and witness the haunted remains of the Anasazi.
