While were blogging about Arizona this week at The World on Wheels, let's take a little detour to some of our favorite Scottsdale restaurants: http://tinyurl.com/3ja6jrr

For this week's Cocktail Hour at The World on Wheels, we're on location again. It's been a celebration of Oktoberfest this month and we've been highlighting different beer videos. Today, it's actually Oktoberfest as we pack up the cameras and head to The Phoenix Club in Anaheim to take in Southern California's biggest Oktoberfest: http://tinyurl.com/4ys2p8j

Today's Oktoberfest themed Cocktail Hour at The World on Wheels is a massive pub crawl filmed on location in Denver, America's beer capitol. Come along as we drink our way from the Capitol Building to Coors Field and everywhere in between with pics and a video so large we had to split it in two: http://wheelstraveler.blogspot.com

In keeping with the Oktoberfest, we're celebrating all things beer on the Cocktail Hour during this season. Today at The World on Wheels, it's a visit to the Belgian Beer Festival at Lucky Baldwins in Sierra Madre, California...filming location for the original "Invasion of the Body Snatchers": http://tinyurl.com/yzxlolx

Sally, 11 months ago I stayed at an upmarket coffee plantation/inn in Costa Rica, Finca Rosa Blanca. Even there, I didn't notice the new techniques. Was I being unobservant, or was I traveling a bit too early for the trend to have taken hold?

I am interested in knowing if the 'specialty brewing techniques' coffee craze hit other parts of the world. I'm talking pour-overs, siphon, cold-drips etc.

On this week's Cocktail Hour video at The World on Wheels, we celebrate Oktoberfest by taste testing two pale ales from Oregon: http://tinyurl.com/3johrgw
