I've been on something akin to this in Helsinki, but the Roman version looks like it's much better, so it's now on my list.

Wonderful gardens, skiing, water sports, quaint villages, a pizza mecca, and great food only 30 minutes from L.A.? It's not a kingdom, it's an empire...the conclusion to our Inland Empire report today on The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/28c3e5v

Today on The World on Wheels, the weather's taking a chilly turn so we need to have something to warm us up. It's Cafe de Playa on The Cocktail Hour: http://tinyurl.com/2578nu8

It’s Oil & Bruschetta Time All Around Rome! The Best Events Until Dec. 12

Last call for oil & bruschetta finger licking events! These are the very last days to try the new extra virgin olive oil in Lazio and Umbria. After November’s harvest, olives are now being pressed while they are still intact and at the height of their freshness......

3-course Dinner In Rome’s Top Restaurants for 35€ Till Nov 21!

By BuzzInRome

Dreamed of having a meal in one of those Michelin starred restaurants byt could never go for the price? Wake up! You’ve got a big chance until November 21.

Dining in a high class restaurant is in fact an expensive matter, byt not during the Rome Restaurant Week, the culinary week intended for people who enjoy food and would like to try out top-notch restaurants at a reasonable price.

Until Sunday the participating restaurants will prepare a 3 course dinner for a special fixed price of only 25€. There will be a surcharge of 10€ for restaurants with more than 75 points listed in the “Gambero Rosso” guide such as A’Ciaramira, Antico Arco, Gaetano Costa Restaurant & Afternoon Tea and Vivendo; and Michelin starred restaurants like Glass Hostaria will apply 10 Euro extra for each star. Bookings for the Rome Restaurant Week are only possible through www.restaurantweek.it and are handled realtime.
