At The World on Wheels, this week's all-new chapter of the Ethnic Foods of the San Gabriel Valley concentrates on a type of cuisine that has been popping up everywhere here, Mediterranean cuisine, where we try to point out the differences between the different cultural foods. It's A Middle Eastern Tour.

Our 5th installment takes us from the Mediterranean to the Pacific, with a stop in Central America. All new today at The World on Wheels, it's the next installment of Ethnic Foods of The San Gabriel Valley.

This week brings us up to 14, out of at least 38, in our exploration of the many Ethnic Foods of the San Gabriel Valley at The World on Wheels. While we have many Asian and Latin specialties to count, this week it's all European. We're Going Continental!

Love the photo and the blog post, Darryl. (And I know this is off-topic, but you know what else I really liked? The other day I re-read your series of posts on The Buccaneer at St. Croix.)

Next up at The World on Wheels as we survey the ethnic salad bowl that is the San Gabriel Valley, just east of Los Angeles. This week's installment finds us with great gaucho food, the tastes of Havana, then across the ocean to Saigon. It's part 3 of the Ethnic Foods of the San Gabriel Valley.

Next up on the Ethnic Foods of the San Gabriel Valley...a true murder story highlights our pick for Lebanese food while Thailand and Andulusia also make appearances. It's ready today at The World on Wheels. From the Tense Mid-East to Bucolic Andalusia

It's here at The World on Wheels, the debut chapter of our new feature, Ethnic Foods of the San Gabriel Valley. We've counted almost 40 different ethnic cuisines in this 200 square mile valley just east of downtown Los Angeles. We're on a mission to try them all! Today, we sample from South of the Border to the Top of The World.
