Does anyone know who the PR for the Paris Tourist Office is? I'd really be glad if you could drop me a line with their name and contact details if you have even the slightest clue!

Some people don't think Paris is lively enough. For club goers, the all-night rule will be a boon for business. BUT - FYI - there have always been some private clubs in Paris that have stayed open until dawn!

Jose: It's unfortunate for everyone involved. I empathize with the tourists who are in Paris who can't go to the Louvre or other museums.

The workers have a point -- and in France, they tend to strike first and then talk.

Let's hope this strike is resolved quickly for everyone. Karen

Check. The silk thermal underwear is the best! I even have the silk sock liners. They work great. If my feet are cold my whole body is miserable no matter how many layers I wear.

Do not forget wool gloves, a scarf, warm socks and boots. I have a collection of thermal underwear. It may be silk - but hey. You can always take clothes off if it is warmer.

Je comprends. I am adding to my winter wardrobe with that in mind. Layers, plenty of black and comfortable but chic shoes/boots. If that doesn't do the trick then vin chaud:) Thanks again Karen.
