New Luxury Hotel To Open Soon in Rome Near Termini Station, From Converted Local Transport Office Building

Another luxury hotel will be inaugurated in the next few months. It is Palazzo Montemartini, the former headquarters of ATAC, the local transport company, conveniently located near the railway station, Termini. The mansion’s 18th century building has undergone a restyling, it has become a hotel that unites the classic elements of marble, stucco works and its antique facade with a contemporary, high-tech style with all the comforts of a last generation hotel. The opening date is expected to be by 2011. Palazzo Montemartini has been conceived for business and pleasure travellers and offers its guests 85 rooms and a handful of suites, a private courtyard, gourmet restaurants, lounge bars, swimming pool and a spa inspired to ancient roman baths.
