The Strand on W 37th St. Newly opened. Lobby has two-story waterfall. What TV station or show so I can watch when it airs?

Hi everybody! I have a TV interview coming up in NYC on Thursday and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions as to a funky/hot new hotel whose lobby would make a good backdrop. Thanks!!!

What a great book, Evelyn. I love guidebooks that show me the unexpected side of a destination. And certainly the tranquil side of NYC is both unexpected... and necessary!! Seattle's not exactly boring, but there's a part of me that dreams of moving to New York. In the meantime, I try to get there every year or two.

Must be why I've lived here all my life. And for those who occasionally want to escape the excitement and energy, my latest guidebook "Peaceful Places New York City: 129 Tranquil Sites", published in April (Menasha Ridge Press) is full of secret gardens, vistas, hiking and birding paths and more throughout the five boroughs.
