Bonjour, tout le monde!

Je voudrais savoir s'il y a des membres qui travaillent avec un hotel ou faissent les relations publiques avec un agence avec plusieurs clients qui sont hotels et restaurants?

Here's the scoop en Anglais.

I will be traveling to Bordeaux from the 3-8 of September for Intermezzo and a couple of my beverage industry trades.  I would like to look into extending my stay a few days beyond the press trip in Paris as I think I can get some interesting material.  While I may be hosted by the Mandarin Oriental a couple of days after Bordeaux (9/8 and 9/9, I would like to find out if there are other hotels who can extend complimentary rooms on assignment (I can provide the letters of assignment).  If it turns out to be a short stay, and hotels can't offer comped rooms, I am still interested in reviewing a couple of hotel or independent restaurants with very inventive sommeliers and interesting wine from the Bordeaux region, so it will tie in with the main features I am doing that focus on Bordeaux's wine and influences on other regions of France.

Let me know your thoughts.  If I secure extra days in Paris, I will inform the people booking flights to France from L.A.

All the best,

Elyse

Update from July 25 message

The tourism office of France is as rude and unhelpful as the tourism office of Australia. They have too many requests to even begin helping my out.  Translation. Unless you are the Wall Street Journal or Conde Nast or whathave you, they won't send you a road map or a post card. I spent a half hour on the phone with the assistant to the top person, and after all that work and sending tear sheets, they shoo me away like a mosquito.

This is very dispiriting.
