Vancouver Olympics

I keep reading that the slopes in Vancouver are in really bad shape. For example, http://www.weather.com/outlook/sports/USA2010/articles/whistler-con.... I've always wanted to ski Whistler, but I'm beginning to change my mind. Can any of you give me some feedback?
