Extending My Reign in Spain: Seeking Madrid and Barcelona Sources

Hello, Colleagues!

I will be going on a press trip to Spain in October, from the 9th - 12th, 2013.  However, as I have pretty substantial assignments for my trade (In the Mix) and consumer outlets (Taste & Travel, which is going to be increasing its circulation in the coming year, especially in the US), I am hoping to add four more days to allow a full day in Madrid (12th, overnight) and a couple of nights in Barcelona (13-14-15). 

If I prevail, I am interested in seeing if there are hotels and local restaurants on the rise willing to host me in exchange for inclusion in my articles (i.e. interviewing Spanish hotel and restaurant sommeliers for In the Mix, which caters to top restaurants and hotel sommeliers; chefs and their recipes for Taste & Travel). Also, if there are local publicists in those cities you recommend I contact, even for recommendations or referrals, please do let me know.
