The Southern Sierra Nevadas. Kern River, rafting, giant sequoias and more. I makes an interesting side trip from Bakerfield, California, but Kernville is also a destination in its own right. The trip report is now online at The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/23t7b2z

It will be a little while before I can get the full reports together, but if you'd like to see the highlights (and a couple of disappointments) from our recent Midwest Baseball Tour, go to this link at The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/2de8sat

We go to find the Govenator of Kahl-ee-for-nya, go on a long hike, and hang with Olympic atheletes. Today's trip report is from capitol of the Golden State, Sacramento. See why it pays to find your duly elected representatives at The World on Wheels: http://tinyurl.com/2wyzzvq

Another Olympic city trip report is on tap for today. The home of the 2002 winter games, Salt Lake City grew into one of the great Olympic scandals. Come along for the ride: http://tinyurl.com/yhfw3yg
