The International Travel Writers Alliance

The International Travel Writers Alliance is the world's largest association of professional travel writers, editors, broadcasters and photographers.

The Alliance also works closely with a wide range of travel and tourism industry representatives and agencies with travel related clients.

To join the Alliance visit www.itwalliance.com and register.

There is no cost, it only takes a couple of minutes, and you will then be able to get press trip and other information from us for as long as you find it of value.

The Alliance gets key information in a no frills format - from its partners and their agencies - to its members via :

· the bi-monthly bulletin, and

· its website, which is an information resource for all registered members, partners and agencies.

In addition, the Alliance works with individual partners and agencies on a range of services and initiatives including :

· producing Alliance alerts and Destination dossiers which provide

· staging networking events, media briefings, awards ceremonies and travel writers conferences and seminars

· arranging and managing of group and individual press trips

· launching and running travel writer awards for particular destinations, and

· providing particular support for destinations looking to launch themselves on the travel and tourism map or when going through periods of particular challenge

The Alliance also supports those partners looking to establish tourism associations or partnerships in order to coordinate the promotion of a destination to best effect.
