Happy Birthday, Amtrak

This breathtakingly underfunded railroad system celebrates its 40th this year. And Saturday is National Train Day, with multiple events in most states in the U.S. So there's still life in this RR thing, no?

I LOVE travelling by train.  Amtrak is not only underfunded, but underrated as well.  Granted, it could be better, but I'll take any day over flying!
