the world's smartest travel social network
April 2013: The Leisure Pass Group announces the launch of a comprehensive new e-learning program. The online training (www.lpgapproved.com) allows agents to dip in and out of the modules around their working day and boost their knowledge on the top European cities of London, Paris and Berlin.
The new ‘Leisure Pass Group Approved’ training will allow agents to become city experts, and is an extensive investment by the Leisure Pass Group specifically aimed at North American travel agents looking to boost their European knowledge.
The training, which is focused on money-saving sightseeing passes in each city, showcases the benefits of buying a pass that allows access to top attractions in the destination. Plus, agents can promote the additional benefits such as public transport, “queue” jumping and bonus money-off offers included in some of the passes.
The London, Paris and Berlin sightseeing passes also allow agents to take a lucrative slice of commission on attraction-admission, which is usually only spent in destination. This means more potential earnings for travel agents.
The Leisure Pass Group Approved e-learning platform is split into three different modules covering London, Paris and Berlin. Packed with advice and information, each module includes important information on the money saved by using a pass and the key attractions covered. The training also features top tips at each stage to ensure that agents can knowledgeably sell the cities on offer.
Further key information covered includes:
Each module ends with a short test to refresh knowledge and ensure that both the key benefits and best sales tips have been understood.
