Martin, nice photograph! Did you place the camera on the floor of a church? And were you in Turkey?

Hi everyone this is a great group, The thing with travel photography is even your home is travel to someone else. But when your on the road with camera in hand it's quite the intoxicating feeling.

Discovering new places, interacting with people, making new friends and in the end your image is your interpretation of your inner vision and experience. Photography and travel photography is my life!

A new gallery of photographs of Frederiksborg Slot, the largest Renaissance palace in Scandinavia. Shot on a glorious crisp, sunny and cloudless day in Hillerød, Denmark last weekend. The castle houses Denmark's National Museum with its awe-inspiring collection of fine art, portraits and furniture. A highly recommended visit - allow a full day to take it all in at a leisurely pace.

Images of San Francisco and Alcatraz Island and Penitentiary. There is an extraordinary atmosphere, amazing views of the city skyline and far fewer tourists on the Alcatraz night tour - highly recommended! Click here to view the image gallery: SF & Alcatraz gallery

Anil - Rokinon lenses are a good example of "you get what you pay for". It's a cheap lens with mediocre quality.
