The glass floor is excitement enough for me.

Ed, I won't even walk on their glass floor! No way in hell am I doing this. (Okay, I'm a freelancer. If you're a market paying $10 a word and assigning 2,000-word features, I'll do it.)

There's a new Edge Walk around the perimeter of the CNN Tower in Toronto. Granted, participants get a safety harness, but psychologically I really need that railing, so I'd probably pass on this one. Would you do it?

Karin - I am surprised you remember that Buffalo News story since it was back in 2007 and yes we got a huge response to Maria's story. People in Buffalo love coming to Toronto.

Maria ceraulo wrote about the boatel several years ago with an amazing reaction. She is with buffalo news. I know she was thoroughly impressed.

Let us know what you end up doing, JoAnna, and enjoy Toronto. Great town.

The Boatel (boat bed & breakfast) is Toronto's most unique bed & breakfast and offers media rates. A night or two on a boat... how devine.

JoAnna, I've stayed at the Drake Hotel, which could not be quirkier, and I loved it. Sure, I was 30 years older than the next-oldest guest, but I'm open-minded. Really, I got a kick out of the carefully designed rooms and the art and the whole scene. I believe they still offer media or comped stays, too. There's a sentence or two on the place in this story as well as a link to the hotel site. http://www.tripatini.com/profiles/blogs/6-best-toronto-dining-deals

Hello All from Niagara Falls. I do the Underground Railroad tours/early Black history tours in Niagara Canada and U.S.A.  I am also a receptive in the Niagara area so can take care of all your travel needs. If you haven't been to Niagara for awhile now is the time to visit again. We have great wineries, great dining, and are gearing up for the celebrations regarding the War of 1812. If I can assist you in any way, please contact me through my website www.niagaraboundtours.com

My husband went to Niagara on the Lake when we went to the G. B. Shaw Festival. The performances were wonderful. I do hope the younger generation does not forget how smart and funny Shaw was. Also, the town of Niagara on the Lake was delightful.
